Call for proposals

The call for proposals for the 2026 VCU Academic Advising Conference is now open

The VCU University Academic Advising Board is seeking proposals that showcase the power of presence, helping students navigate their chosen paths with confidence by embracing the current moment. We would love for you to share with attendees your insights, skills, and best practices in advising, and the impact these have on student success.

We encourage new and seasoned academic advisors, faculty, and advising administrators to submit proposals and share their noteworthy expertise, their unique advising programs, and their research results. All topics will be considered.

Proposals can be presentation sessions or panel sessions.
